Placing Color is now on view at Winona State Univeristy!

Placing Color is now on view at Winona State University until September 16, 2009. The Opening Reception is Thursday, September 3, 4-5pm. We are happy to say that all three artists will be in attendance! A Panel Discussion will follow at 7:30 PM. Panel Members: Vittorio Colaizzi, Moderator, authors Gary Eddy and Elizabeth Oness, and dancer/choreographer, Gretchen Cohenour. The artists would like to thank Vittorio Colaizzi and the Winona State University Art and Art History Department for making this show and trip possible!

Vittorio Colaizzi Gallery Talk May 14th

Art Historian Vittorio Colaizzi (author of the Placing Color catalogue essay) will give a Gallery Talk at the Placing Color exhibition at The Painting Center, NYC Thursday, May 14th from 5 - 7 pm. Professor Colaizzi will speak on the work of Robert Ryman in relation to contemporary abstract painting.

Placing Color is now on view at The Painting Center in New York City until May 21, 2009. The Opening Reception is Saturday, May 2 from 5-7 pm. A Gallery Talk will take place on May 14, 2009 5:00 pm. Placing Color will be on view at Sherman Gallery, Boston University from March 17 – April 24, 2009. The Opening Reception is Thursday, March 19th, 5:30-7:30 PM. An Artists' Talk on "Color" by Brett Baker, Kayla Mohammadi, Carrie Patterson will take place prior to the opening at 4PM. Please visit the Sherman Gallery venue page for details and directions.

Placing Color will be on view at Boyden Art Gallery at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, from January 19 – February 28, 2009. There will be an opening reception with introductions of the work by the artists on January 21 from 5:00 – 6:00 and a panel discussion titled: Seeing through the Disciplines on February 4 from 4:30 – 6:00.
